Schools

Throughout the academic year 2009/10 we coached on average 350 young people every week.

The purpose of the schools programme was to increase the number of young people playing Gaelic Games and also recruit new players to the club.

In association with the London GAA, we hosted a number of Primary school blitzes which proved to be very successful and before long we had influx of new players attending training.

On St.Patricks Day, we hosted our annual Gaelic Football blitz for both Primary and Secondary schools. There were over 200 young people playing Gaelic football , a great achievement by any standards and a real credit to the development team and coaches.

All in all, the schools programme has made a massive impact on school sport across three Boroughs.

The club actually won both the Championship and League tiltles at U12 Football and we are now looking to a new programme which will continue this year, as we continue to develop both Hurling and Football in Essex abd East London.
