Business In The Community
Thomas McCurtains Minor GAA Club are delivering a programme of coaching in schools and spreading the word of Gaelic Games in Essex & East London.
We are currently coaching 350 young people a week across four boroughs. In order to maintain our delivery, we require additional funding to provide the network and support to our delivery staff.
The Way Forward
Our 5 year community plan has now been agreed and sanctioned by our Board.
Thomas McCurtains as a club will seek over the next 5 years to become further involved in the community by:
Encouraging local schools to utilise our facilities for events such as festivals and blitzes.
Distributing our newsletter within the local community.
Publishing our activities in the local community networks.
Build on or existing and create new school links
Launch a four club community programme to offer pathway opportunities for new players via our schools programme.
We will also liaise with the Metropolitan Police to help promote initiatives aimed at encouraging young people to play sport.
With your Support we will:
Continue to deliver opur school and community programme
Provide opportunities for young people, including sports accreditations, coaching courses and further education opportunities.
Ensure a fun, friendly and safe environment for young people in sport, promoting the values of the Governments ' Every Child Matters ' Policy ( 2004 )
